My story
So-you like big dogs??
You are in luck-Bear is a beautiful 1 year old red Doberman/Pit mix weighing in at 90 pounds. He was surrendered to the shelter from a family who got him as a puppy, and are now moving. The family stated that Bear was active-liked to play with other dogs-play fetch-walked on leash--and that he loved to play with kids young and old.The surrender form stated that Bear is a very friendly dog even though he is shy-he is crate trained
and lived outside the house. They also shared that Bear did not like riding in the car.In the shelter Bear likes to go outside-he is strong on leash-but is very eager to please and corrects easily.
When outside, Bear wants to be near you.
He will lean in for more hugs and pets.
He would love to find a family who appreciates him and wants to make him part of their family.Bear is Heartworm positive.
Heartworms are treatable. Bear is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
